Most people who come to me have already tried therapy. They've talked about what happened. They understand it intellectually. But the body still reacts — the patterns still repeat. That's where EMDR comes in. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of the most researched trauma therapies in the world, recommended by the WHO and the APA for PTSD and trauma. It works with how the brain actually stores distressing memories — and helps them lose their charge.

I also draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and somatic-informed approaches — always tailored to what your nervous system needs, at a pace you can actually handle.

Why telehealth — and why it works

I see clients exclusively via telehealth — secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions from wherever you are in New Jersey, Virginia, or North Carolina. Research consistently shows that telehealth EMDR produces outcomes comparable to in-person therapy. For many clients, being in their own space actually makes it easier to go deep. No commute. No waiting room. Just the work.
